  • San Juan County Gymkhana, a long-established youth rodeo program, has reopened in Aztec after canceling December events due to an EHV-1 outbreak. It now offers $5 entry rodeos and riding lessons on Monday nights at McGee Park plus summer competitions at the arena for kids and families.  Farmington Local News

  • Goodwill Industries hit a record $7 billion revenue in 2025 and now has 13 stores in NM (seven in Albuquerque) as rising prices drive more shoppers to thrift stores, and the chain will open 50 new locations nationwide.  KOAT

  • New Mexico travelers must pay a $45 fee for TSA Confirm ID compliance when flying from local airports starting Feb. 1. The online form, valid for 10 days after a flight, verifies your identity if you don’t have an acceptable Real ID + passport or driver’s license.  KOAT
