- ➤ More than 80 schools competed in the state esports tournament this week, and four New Mexico schools ranked in USA TODAY Sports/PlayVS's top 25 nationally—Los Alamos High School (3), La Cueva High School (5), West Las Vegas High School (13) and Bosque School (22). La Cueva has also won state championships in 5A in 2021, 2024 and this year as teams practice daily in games like Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart. KOAT
