- ➤ New Mexico State Parks reminds eligible veterans to apply for a lifetime pass under House Bill 161, which gives verified veterans free day use and camping access at state parks. More than 6,000 veterans have claimed the pass since July 1 & active duty service members with their families will have fee waivers on Veterans Day; if you have not applied, contact NMDVS via email.
