Residents in New Mexico spotted northern lights on Tuesday, Nov.
11 and again on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in Rio Rancho—many noted Wednesday’s display was less impressive because of clouds. New Mexico State University astronomy professor Jason Jackiewicz said Tuesday’s event may be a once-in-a-lifetime sight.
